About
About Me
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, with an expected graduation date of May 2027.
My research lies at the intersection of farmland markets, agricultural finance, land-use change, and renewable energy development.
I use applied econometric and spatial methods to study how policy, information, development, and market structure shape agricultural land values and landowner decisions. My dissertation examines the capitalization of large regional development projects into farmland prices, the effects of failed renewable energy projects on land-market expectations, and the role of market structure and information in farmland transactions.
Beyond my dissertation, my research includes agricultural finance, commodity marketing and risk management, farmland valuation, production economics, and the application of econometric and machine-learning methods to agricultural markets.
